The Wonder of Children

Sully Reallon and Earl Garrison spent time with Mrs. Seifert's Kindergarten class last spring. Adjacent to the school is a nestbox that attracted a beautiful pair of bluebirds. Sully and Earl showed the class the nuances of correct nestbox monitoring and why it is important. Pictures tell the story better than I can.

      Mike,
I agree with you on the excitement of children when they look at an occuped nest box.I set up and managed a Bluebird trail in a school for 5 yrs in OH.I had a Bluebird club for students that met weekly. They learned a lot.It was very worthwhile experience for me.
