Those of you that cruise this blog periodically probably noticed the two entries posted by Tom Croom this morning. Tom is a long-time bluebirder who has maintained large trails for more than ten years. He is also very active in the Orange County Sea&Sage Audubon Society.

Tom took the time to thoughfully respond to my rather terse June 2007 meeting minutes about the S&S Audubon affiliation idea. The full context of Tom's response can be found here. I encourage everyone to read it.

I for one, appreciate hearing both sides of an issue. It is clear to me now, S&S Audubon members spent considerable time and effort considering our request to become an affiliate. Somewhere - there was a break-down in communication between our two groups.

I think we should re-evaluate this partnership. Tom is planning on attending our July meeting to brief us on the S&S Audubon activities. Until then, the affiliate idea is still on the table.
