For the March 2007 meeting, we have decided to meet again at It's A Grind Coffee House in Laguna Hills. Unfortunately, the Sea&Sage Audubon facility is not available to us on Saturday mornings. Please bring a warm jacket in case a crowd requires us to use the patio again.

We are working on finding a larger and more confortable meeting place for future meetings.

Advise your friends to join us for great coffee and terrific fellowship.

Bluebirds are nesting in Lake Forest. On a check on 12 nest boxes this week I found 3 boxes with nests starting. Several Bluebird pairs were in the trees and checking out other boxes.
At Laguna Niguel park a Nuttles Woodpecker is chipping out the back of the nest box from the inside. It looks like the start of an interesting year.

This is great news Earl! Sully and I met for coffee this morning and we were contemplating on when we would see our first bluebirds of the season.

There are a lot of posts on the Cornell Bluebird list advising bluebirds are beginning to nest in northern CA and parts of Oregon.
